Yes, I am promoting a taste test...Starbucks Cake Pops vs. Deliciously Home-Made's Dessert Pops. I want your feedback - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Your comments are how improvements are made - it's how I learn, it's how I grow. And for your efforts, I will enter your name in a drawing for one free dozen Easter Dessert Pops! Here's how it works:

The next time you are at Starbucks (or just go there), buy a Cake Pop and then compare it to my Dessert Pops. Hopefully, by now you have had one of mine -- if not, you need to try one.

Okay, so I have to admit I was bummed when I discovered that Starbucks is selling Cake Pops. I immediately went to Starbucks to see if it was true, and to (of course) taste the competition. I also had to give them my brochure and tell them I am local. So, the verdict is...they are good. My family (biased I am sure) tells me my chocolate is better and that mine look better. I agree.

So, to turn this into a positive...I am happy that Starbucks is selling them. They will help market Cake Pops. Everyone will know what they are and it will drive the industry. I can continue to market my cute designs and advertise my business more.

Plus...they don't have Brownie or Oreo!

Here I am with my Mother at my first-ever Bridal Show. It was a beautiful, sunny October day. You would think that attendance would have been higher, but I guess the brides to be wanted to enjoy the last bit of sunshine before winter sets in.

I did meet a lot of brides, however, who showed interest in my Wedding Pops. Not only were they impressed with the appearance, but loved the taste. Of course!

Keep me in mind for your next special occasion. I do more than weddings!

but that is next! I need Oprah to add Dessert Pops to her "favorite things".

These are the latest -- wedding pretzels. I was asked to do gourmet pretzels for a wedding this month. The bride asked for a sample of the dessert pops, and also requested toffee gourmet pretzels. Well, I had no idea how I was going to pull off wedding looking pretzels. However, I did and she ordered them!

These delightful bride and groom pretzels are coated with caramel, dredged in Heath Toffee Chips, and dunked in chocolate. They not only look good, they taste delicious!
